We went to my mother-in-law’s for dinner the other night.  She made a delicious duck in an orange sauce. Then we played with marzipan. I made a little duck with an orange beak. It seemed appropriate – or perhaps inappropriate?

We discovered that marzipan wants to stick so we put our finished critters on a buttered surface so the could be easily transfered. The marzipan was my mother-in-law’s idea and we had fun. I love than we both enjoy things like this. It’s nice to have someone to be dorky with.
